My wife and I have been regulars at Panama City Beach since childhood, and after multiple family vacations from 2015 to 2021, we decided to purchase our our own vacation rental at Horizon South early in 2022.

 

Throughout the years, we compiled a checklist during each trip, noting what would be ideal for our future property. We paid attention to details at every property that we stayed in—what worked, what didn't, and what made a lasting impression. The key factors always boiled down to location, amenities, owner communication, guest experience, and cleanliness. If a property fell short in these areas, it was quickly crossed off our list.
