If you own a property in Horizon South, you've come to the right place for your vacation management needs. We specialize in managing units at Horizon South!  We own and manage Unit 28D, right next to the main office/putt putt. You can check out our unit ---> Wanderlust PCB!

Because we live out of state, I'm sure you have questions about how we can manage your property from Indiana. With over 10 years of property management experience and ownership of multiple rental properties, We've realized that in most situations, being physically present isn't always necessary. 

​

Our approach relies significantly on reliable individuals, technology, and systems. We're connected with trustworthy cleaners and maintenance professionals who are our first line of defense in identifying any issues.

​

For instance, if a guest reports no hot water on day 2 of their stay, being local wouldn't prompt us to drive over to your unit immediately – this is not the most efficient way to address the problem. Instead, we'll first troubleshoot over the phone to rule out any user error. If the issue persists, we'll reach out to a reliable handyman to resolve it on-site. The handyman provides us with necessary details on how they resolved the issue. The same process applies to our cleaners. If they find something out of place or not working, they will notify us right away.

Something else you might be concerned about would be a potential conflict of interest. You might be wondering if there's a chance that we'd steer your potential guests towards renting our own space instead of yours. Rest assured, this is not how we operate. The only scenario in which we'd recommend another unit is if the guest is seeking something different than what your unit offers. For example, if your 2-bedroom unit sleeps 6, and a potential guest asks if there's room for 8 people before booking, and your unit can't legally accommodate that, we might suggest an alternative unit that does. It's important to note that most guests we handle book instantly on their own, so we have very limited control over which unit they choose.

We will get our eyes on your property at some point! We will typically schedule a pre-listing property evaluation before it's fully marketed. During this walk through, we will physically evaluate your property allowing us to familiarize ourselves with the space. This process helps us provide you with any recommendations necessary to enhance the rentability of your unit.

Keep in mind, we’re in town about 5-6 times a year  (every few months) checking on our place, making small repairs, and oftentimes, just enjoying it with our family. During our visits to inspect our own unit, we will also take the opportunity to inspect your unit (if vacant). We will let you know ahead of time so that you know when I’ll be there. 

​

Horizon South is our home away from home 🙂 and we will take care of your property as if it were our own.
